DESCRIPTION:Dancing with the Divas is a celebrity dance competition and fundraiser.  Eight local celebrities dance in order to raise money for a charity each one selected.  This year's event will be Saturday\, July 26 at EagleSticks Tent.  The doors open at 6:30 with hors d'oeuvres and silent auction.  The show featuring the celebrities and a Dancing Diva begins at 8:00.  The eight celebrities this year include Dave Boyer dancing for the Animal Shelter Society\; Kacey Cottirll raising funds for the Salvation Army Women's Auxiliary\; Steve Foreman representing The United Way\; Chad Grandstaff dancing for The Grant Hickman Foundation\; Dr. Paul Hoffman raising funds for The Red Cross Muskingum Valley Chapter\; Paul Nestor representing Muskingum Valley Council Boy Scouts of America\; Laura Schumann dancing for SEO Symphony Orchestra and Maryjane Shackelford raising funds for C\,A.S.S-M.I.N.D.  This is the 4th year the Divas have put on this event to sell out audiences.  Over the last 4 years over $60\,000 dollars have been raised for local charities.  The Dancing Divas are a non-profit group dedicated to empower and inspire women to dance at any age and any ability level.  Tickets for the event are available at Wade's Clothing on Maple Avenue.
