The Muskingum Valley Human Resource Management Association (MVHRMA) is an affiliate chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and consists of human resource professionals in the East Central area of Ohio. The Muskingum Valley Chapter was awarded the SHRM Superior Merit Award in 2006 and 2007. The Association offers professional development and networking opportunities to its members and guests. The mission of the MVHRMA is to serve as a diverse network of Human Resource and business professionals committed to stimulating excellence in the field of human resources by promoting HR professional development and growth\, achieving the National Society for Human Resource Management affiliation standards and providing effective access to human resource information. Meetings are held on the 2nd Wednesday of each month from 8:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. The meetings are open to anyone that has an interest in the area of human resources.
