About Us

Zanesville Business and Professional Women's Club (ZBPW) was founded May 13, 1920. Our mission is to achieve equity for all women in the workplace, through advocacy, education and information. We strive to help all women, professionally, politically and personally. BPW is the leading advocate for women in the United States. Locally ZBPW provides educational scholarships through the Elliot Educational Endowment Fund. We provide personal development through our two signature programs, Individual Development and Young Careerist. We keep pace with legislation that impacts women's issues. We are proud to support Buckeye Girls State to give young women the opportunity to experience and understand the political process. We provide educational speakers and networking. We also support local organizations that provide services to civilian and military women, such as Operation Spirit and Transitions Women's Shelter, and others.
