Maintenance Specilaist

Responsible for providing general repair and maintenance for all facilities under the direction of the Maintenance supervisor.

RESPONSIBILITIES/STANDARDS:

  • Provide general repair and maintenance for all facilities to include plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting and mechanical work. Provide rehab to offices and apartments to include dry wall restoration, interior and exterior painting. Move office furniture and files.
  • Perform an annual inspection of all facilities.
  • Provide quarterly inspection of all Allwell vehicles to include exterior and interior cleaning of vehicles.
  • Provide maintenance team back up to cover vacations and/or sick leave for van driving and janitorial duties at Allwell sites.
  • Will have access to and use of, as well as may create, Protected Health Information (PHI) of clients through verbal, written and electronic communications, as recorded and contained in ABHS’s clinical records and electronic healthcare record system. Will use and protect such identified client PHI by maintaining and respecting client privacy and confidentiality in conformance to federal HIPAA and state patient privacy laws and regulations and ABHS client confidentiality policies. Employee will only access and use the minimum necessary PHI required to perform their job duties.

TECHNICAL: Must have high school diploma or equivalent. Should have working knowledge of plumbing, electricity, HVAC, boiler and carpentry.
ANALYTICAL: Exercises judgment in performing duties that require maintenance and mechanical skills and comprehension of building maintenance.
CONTROL: Controls own time, equipment and materials and is responsible for maintenance of corporate facilities and vehicles.
