The MDS Nurse will be responsible for using the RAI process in coordinating the completion (including timing and scheduling) of the mandated OBRA and Medicare MDS assessments and MDS assessment information to contribute to the development, review, and/or revision of a resident’s care plan as one member of the interdisciplinary team. Serve as a resource for all disciplines in relation to the RAI process and MDS assessments.  The position reports to the Director of Nursing.
 

Certificates and Licenses

• Valid current, unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse in the state where the assigned facility(s) are located
• Must have CPR certification and CPR certification must remain current during employment
• Valid driver’s license and insurance coverage
